Meet the Stanleys

Arthur & Deborah Stanley

On September 8, 1999, our oldest daughter, Na'Imah, passed away at the age of 21 from pneumonia. On January 11, 2004, at the age of 10 Le’Anna died from acute diabetes. This disease was only diagnosed five days before her passing. That was a devastating time for our family. We had not even gotten over the passing of our daughter, Na'lmah, when our daughter Le'Anna passed away.

I did not know how I would come back from having my two children going to glory before us. I thought God didn't love or even like me and I love God so much! I had a hard time for a while until my girls would come to me in spirit to get me right with God. That is when all these ideas came to me about helping other children.

Then the Lord put in my Spirit to organize "The Stanley Girls Learning Health Center for Children" in honor of the memory of the deaths of our two beautiful angles. We are all God’s children, and that's why we do everything multicultural.

SGHLCC has been serving the community for over 19-years. Loretta is grown now and has brought us lovely granddaughters, Artaviyhia, age 17, An'Drena, age 13, and two sons Jamontay, age 7 and a 8-month-old old.

Nicolas and Shayne' are proud parents of our grandson Nicolas Jr. (Sir Hansum) and Naizan, 9 months. They are expecting another boy in February 2024. Arturo and Zhane are proud first-time parents of Art 3rd, 9 months and all are living back in their hometown. Thank you Lord for this answered prayer bringing my family back together while growing.

Both Shayne' and Zhane' have been on TV shows, awards shows, and have been acknowledged in magazines for their work in dance.

I was born Deborah Ryans in Newark, New Jersey, on April 5, 1963, to Willie and Bessie Ryans and grew up in Baxter Terrace in Newark, NJ.

I met my future husband, Arthur Stanley in 1976 while in school. I graduated from Burnett Street School in 1977 and had our first daughter, Na' Imah Nijeerah Stanley, on April 16, 1978. After graduating from East Orange High School in 1981 and moving San Diego, California, I married Arthur Stanley on April 5, 1982. We celebrated 41 years of marriage on April 5, 2023.

We moved back to New Jersey where I had to go through the tough time of my mother going to glory from a heart attack on May 23, 1987. While grieving for my mother, Arthur and I adopted a little baby girl named Loretta Stanley in 1988. She was the daughter of Arthur's little sister, Brenda. Loretta had a tough childhood, getting burns on over half of her body when she was only one year old. My husband and I then became her only childcare providers and had to go through training for specializing in burn care. I also had to teach Loretta how to talk and walk all over again. It was a very tough year for us. But, with God's help we made it through.

After the birth of Na'lmah we didn't know if we could have any more children, but on March 16, 1993 fifteen years later, we welcomed Le'Anna Kristina Stanley into our family.

The next year on October 14, 1994 we were blessed again. This time with identical twins: Shayne' & Zhane'.

Before their birth, my father passed away in New Jersey. My husband and I worked very hard taking care of five girls.

Le'Anna Kristina Stanley

On March 16, 1993, in Newark, New Jersey, Le’Anna Kristina Stanley was introduced to this earth through her parents Mr. Arthur and Mrs. Deborah Stanley.

At the age of two Le’Anna began to sing everywhere she went. She was a very brave little girl and was not shy. She loved to perform, sing and dance at every birthday party she went to and became the center of attraction. In July 1993, Le'Anna moved to Sacramento, California with her family.

She went to Herman Leimbach Elementary 1998 to 1999 for kindergarten. Even as a young child she was loved by everyone in school. She also attended Charles Mack Elementary, first through third grade, where she met lots of friends. Fourth and fifth grade she attended Mary Tsukamoto Elementary where she became very popular and was adored by many.

In 1997, Le'Anna joined Genesis Missionary Church under the leadership of the late Dr. Robert Porter. She was an active member at her church alongside of her sisters. She also made a drawing for all her friends in school and at church. She loved to dance and joined the junior praise dance ministry under the direction of Yvonne Adams. As she also loved to sing, she joined the Youth Explosion Choir where she sometimes helped lead praise and worship. She loved praising and worshiping the Lord as a junior praise and worship team member. Mr. & Mrs. Stanley's baby was the most lovely, sweet, honest, adorable, friendly, prayerful child, and that's why we all knew she was heaven sent.

Le'Anna loved enjoyed and loved God, her family and also loved to sing and dance with her sisters Loretta, Na'lmah, Zhane', and Shayne. Le'Anna was truly a gifted artist and was truly loved by any who came to know her.

I believe she is an angel sent here from God and did the work He had sent her to do. She touches so many lives. Le'Anna had done her job so well that it was time for her to go back to heaven at the age of ten. I thank God for letting me take care of one of His angels while here on earth. I feel very special.

— Ms. Stanley

Na'lmah Nijeerah Stanley

In Newark, New Jersey, on April 16, 1978, God introduced one of His children, Ms. Na'mah Nijeerah Stanley, to this world. There to greet her were her parents, Arthur and Deborah Stanley.

The family moved to San Diego, California, in 1982 and lived there until 1985. They moved back to Newark, New Jersey, where Na'lmah attended Deron 1 Elementary School in 1988 until she graduated from there in

1992. Na'mah was such a beautiful little girl, and all the teachers and children loved her. She was very nice to everyone.

Na'mah was the type of child that had lots of friends and was very close to her family. Na'mah went to the prom with her father as her date - that's how much she loved him.

Na’ima moved with her family to Sacramento, California, in July 1993 where she attended Florin High School until her graduation in 1997. Na'lmah was a very friendly, lovely person and gave joy to those around her. Her happy and bubbly personality made everyone around her happy.

Na'mah loved God, children and especially babies. She joined Genesis Baptist Missionary Church under the leadership of the late Dr. Robert Porter in 1997 and then joined the Youth Explosion Choir. Na'mah was God's precious angel and she loved to sing and praise the Lord. Na'lmah was a bright and intelligent young lady who everyone loved to pieces. She was active in her church along with her sisters Loretta, Le'Anna, Shayne' and Zhane'. Na'mah was very close to her sisters and loved them very much. Her mother, Deborah Stanley, thanks the Lord for letting her be the mother that took care of His precious angel.

NaeNae Twins

Deborah Stanley’s identical twin daughters will be teaching and sharing great advice on how to get started and manage life online as influencers. With much success on many social media platforms, the NaeNae Twins will share tips on content creation, insider business mistakes and some steps they took as now full-time content creators, as well as teach dance and have the attendees be featured on one of their major platforms.

As Sacramento natives, it is an honor to give back to the community and share their gift any way possible. Specializing in hip hop dance, the attendees will be able to learn some trendy moves from the twins that they can share with their followers. Dance has always been their first language and synchronized movements is their superpower.

The NaeNae Twins have been apart of the organization since the start as dance teachers and now, successful influencers. Come learn about their journey and how God has blessed them and continues to bless them with opportunities.
