Our History

The Stanley Girls Learning Health Center for Children came about because of the death of my daughters: Na'Imah, age 21, from pneumonia and Le'Anna, age 10, from diabetes (diagnosed five days prior to her passing). Their spirits lead me to start this program.

The Stanley Girls learning health Center for children was established to prevent at risk youth from different types of diseases such as diabetes, heart failure, pneumonia, high blood pressure, etc. The programs we offer are designed to help children live healthier, positive lives. All of the projects developed and implement by this program contain the essential elements for success. We are absolutely committed to the communities we serve through medical prevention strategies and family advocacy.
